That life
Collegiate Apostles is our college-aged young adult ministry (ages 18-25) and meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month during the school year. Gathering in faith, for fellowship, and with food, the Collegiate Apostles is an opportunity for some relief from our busy schedules and a chance to grow deeper in our relationship with God and each other. Don’t feel like you have to commit to each gathering, just come when you can. You and your friends are always welcome!
Cursillo: English
The Cursillo experience renews one’s faith and gives a deeper understanding of our Christian commitment as Catholics. The Cursillo integrates our faith and beliefs into our daily environment. This experience starts with a weekend retreat that is part study, education, celebration, and part discovery. While the Cursillo lasts just one weekend, you get the tools to persevere for the rest of your life. We teach group reunions and have “Ultreyas” for community growth and strength in Christ.
Bereavement Ministry
This ministry offers support and consolation within our community of faith, by making Jesus’ love known when a loved one’s life on earth has come to an end. We will be present for the family during their time of loss and will provide help for those facing the pain of separation and the many changes that loss creates. Our ministry consists of two teams. Consolers: A wonderful group of volunteers who provide follow up support and attend the services. Hospitality: A group of volunteers who provide desserts for the family following the funeral. We are looking for compassionate people who are willing to stay committed to the services provided by our ministry.
Music Ministry
Join together in song, under the talented direction of our choir director. For rehearsal information, please contact our Director of Music and Liturgy for more information.
Men’s Group
All men are welcome! Join us for coffee, a light breakfast, socialization, and engaging (no pressure) conversation about our faith in a relaxed environment.

Eucharistic Minister
Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound.
Ministers of Hospitality
Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass, assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection.
Ministers of Care
Is anyone among you suffering? They should pray. Is anyone in good spirits? They should sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? They should summon the ministers of the church, and they should pray over them and in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise them up.
It is with these words of encouragement from the letter of St. James that we go out to serve the needs of the sick in our community. A loving touch, a healing prayer, a kind word, and the desire to be Christ to those who desire his presence in communion with the whole church, this is all that is required of you as a Minister of Care. We will prepare you to serve the sick in their homes, in the hospitals, and in long term care homes. As a certified Eucharistic Minister, you will be sent out to bring that which nourishes both the body and the soul: Our Lord Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament. You can serve as an on-call minister for short term home and hospital visits or you can join a team of ministers who serve the needs of the homebound or those in long term care. It is your choice; all we ask is that you choose to serve.
Sacred Heart Prayer Group Healing
We all face difficulties in life, no one escapes times of hardship or suffering. The good news is that we never have to endure such times alone; Jesus is always ready to bring us healing. The St. John Vianney Sacred Heart Healing & Deliverance Prayer Ministry is available to pray with you every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the church. We also gather every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Monday of every month from 6:30 – 7:30 pm at the Sacred Heart House, to give thanks and praise to God through song, prayer, and scripture, through the guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. All are welcome to come and experience Jesus’ healing!
