Bereavement MinistryThis ministry offers support and consolation within our community of faith, by making Jesus’ love known when a loved one’s life on earth has come to an end. We will be present for the family during their time of loss and will provide help for those facing the pain of separation and the many changes that loss creates. Our ministry consists of two teams. Consolers: A wonderful group of volunteers who provide follow up support and attend the services. Hospitality: A group of volunteers who provide desserts for the family following the funeral. We are looking for compassionate people who are willing to stay committed to the services provided by our ministry. Ministers of Care
Is anyone among you suffering? They should pray. Is anyone in good spirits? They should sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? They should summon the ministers of the church, and they should pray over them and in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise them up. |
